Pilgrimage Day

The parish and the Priory are the hosts of this pilgrimage day which we share with pilgrims from Augustinian parishes all over the country. Clare parishioners have always assisted with the organisation supporting the pilgrimage and volunteers are always needed on the day to carry out the various tasks of preparation of the site, stewarding, assisting on the tea stall, etc.

Craft Fair

On the second Saturday and Sunday of July the grounds of the Priory are given over to a Craft Fair which is usually extremely well received. There is a small charge for admission but there is a wonderful variety of local crafts on display.

To see pictures from the 2008 event please click here, for 2007 please click here, or for 2006 please click here.

The 2008 Craft Fair was held on the weekend of July 12th/13th. More details (times, prices, etc.) can be found on the Craft Fair page. Provisional Dates for the 2009 Craft Fair are July 11th and 12th. We will contact all registered exhibitors around February/March next year when we are ready to invite applications. (There is no need to re-register).

Advent Programme

In this year of St. Paul we will focus upon the Acts of the Apostles.

The Acts of the Apostles takes us through the First Chapter of the history of Christianity. The continuation of that story is in our hands.

In order to cater for those who do not like to go out in the evening, and those who work during the day, there will be two session on each day, each of about 90minutes to include time for questions.  These will be at 11.00am and at 8.00pm (The evening session will be an exact repeat of the morning session.)

Wednesday 26th November.  Fr. Ben
The events that led up to the Council of Jerusalem

Week 2

Wednesday 3rd December.  Fr. Martin Nolan
